ELASKON Betonal Bio is a readily biodegradable parting agent used as emulsion in water. Main applications are for cast in place concrete on wood and plastic-coated formwork and generally for impregnation of such formwork. Also to be used as parting agent for asphalt in road constructions to avoid sticking of the material to all kinds of devices. Properties: Betonal Bio also yields stable emulsions with hard water. It is not pore-forming. Processing: Betonal Bio is added while stirring to some water and emulsified. NOT VICE VERSA! Add the rest of water while stirring. Dirty water decreases the stability of the emulsion. We suggest a ratio of 1:5 to 1:10 as parting agent for concrete, 1:20 for asphalt. The emulsion is sensitive to low temperatures.
