Elaskon SK-G graphitiert is an universal primary lubricant for wire ropes and their fibre cores. Areas of application are industrial used ropes as well as ropes for open-cast mining machinery or excavators. Properties: Elaskon SK-G graphitiert forms a thin, grey-black film on the rope after cooling-off, that protects the rope against wear as well as against corrosion and environmental influences. Application: Elaskon SK-G graphitiert is supplied in a pasty form. For processing the product has to be melted and to be brought onto the wire rope according to the available technology. Recommended application temperature is approx. 120°C. Benefits: Contains solid lubricant, excellent wear protection.
