Elaskon Hohlraumwachs Spezial is a temporary corrosion protection agent for the car cavity protection. Properties: Elaskon Hohlraumwachs Spezial seals and conserves rust traces. For heavy rust, clean especially well or use good flowing, solvent-based products. Has long-term creeping properties. Therefore, places such as folds and weld seams, that are difficult to reach during application, will also be protected. Processing: The cavity protection wax must be heated for application to 120°C. Do not bring the heated product into contact with water. Wear protective gloves when handling heated product. Before application of the heated, liquid product, also preheat the pressure cup spray gun and the cavity nozzle. We recommend using Vaupels pressure cup spray gun 3300 HSDR. It is very compact in size and may therefore be easily heated. The product may be brought to the cavity using high pressure. The cavity protection wax should be thoroughly applied throughout the cavity using a round spray nozzle. Recommended thickness of the layer is at least 500 μm. Unused wax should be removed from the spray gun and the nozzle when still hot, in order to avoid solidification inside the gun. Repeated heating of the wax is possible.
