Elaskon WR-EAL is an universal primary lubricant for wire ropes and its fibre cores. It is used for prevention of corrosion and wear for wire ropes in the fields off-shore, fishing and navy. Elevated efforts for maintenance are to be expected due to the nature of the product. May also be used for maintenance lubrication. Properties: Elaskon WR-EAL is produced on the basis of synthetic esters and inorganic thickeners. It protects very well from wear and corrosion. Processing: Elaskon WR-EAL is to be processed as delivered. The product is processed either manually or with suitable technology, for example rope lubricators from Masto, Viper or similar compressed air powered devices. Benefits: Readily biodegradable, especially suitable for marine environment, high corrosion protection also in seawater. Approvals: Elaskon WR-EAL is in accordance with the EU-Water Framework Directive 2008/105/EG, appendix X.
